Car Wash FAQs
While the time a car wash takes varies from one vehicle to another (depending on the size and condition, as well as the type of service that we do to each vehicle), generally it takes anywhere from 25 to 50 minutes from start to finish.
Most likely we can. Let us what you like and, if we are able to do it, we’ll be happy to take care of it. Just be aware that there might be an extra charge for particular add-ons.
It depends on many factors, such as size, condition and the type of service that you would like. Please contact us and we’ll go from there.
Yes, we’ve dry-washed plenty of times. We do it when necessary and only if it will not harm the car’s finish (e.g., in the case of very dirty vehicles). If it’s not safe to dry-wash, we will suggest a traditional wash.
No. We use soft water for best results during the entire wash process, from beginning to end. It’s best for your vehicle and easier for us to work with, especially since we frequently work in direct sunlight.
We use different professional brand-line products that are safe to use in and outdoors on all vehicles. We use the same products that we use on our own vehicles.
We definitely do, since we clean tinted windows all the time!
It shouldn’t be. We minimize the use of strong-cleaning odors and can skip air scent altogether if you don’t want any. Please just notify us of your preferences.
In some case we do and in others it’s optional. It depends on where we’ll wash your vehicle, if it’s outside wash only, and whether or not we will need to move it for a particular reason. In some cases, while it’s optional, we recommend leaving the key since we usually obtain better results when we can move it (e.g., better tire-shining coverage).
Not always. In some cities we need to have special written permits to be able to wash in certain properties, such as apartments and other shared-parking lots. In some cities, we are not allowed to work on public roads, alleys, or parking lots. If you want us to work on your vehicle in a place where it’s not your private property, please mention that to us so we can seek a solution together.
Yes, but only when it’s fair to do so. For example, if we have to spend substantially more time and effort on your vehicle to leave it in it’s best condition, it’s only just that we charge a proportional extra-cleaning fee. We are reasonable, so it should not be an issue and we can come to a mutual agreement.
The reason we do not show up on Google Maps is that it only lets you put a physical location, but we are mobile. We go to you at your best convenience, so we can always be a car wash nearby.
Auto Detailing FAQs
Now, that is a tricky one! Some detail jobs can be done in about an hour while some may need a couple of hours or even a few days! It all mainly depends on what detail service we will do, and the condition and size of the vehicle.
By all means we can! And we actually do that quite frequently because the variables are so many and you shouldn’t need to pay for something you don’t want or need. Together we can create the perfect detail service for your vehicle.

Let us just say that our most in-depth detailing services can literally make a vehicle look many years newer, inside and out. Sometimes even we ourselves are surprised to see the change in a vehicle that didn’t seem to have much hope at looking prettier.
The answer to that mostly depends on whether you think your particular vehicle is worth preserving. The products work just as intended, indeed preventing damage from occurring and therefore keeping the vehicle looking better longer — and helping keep its value high. But, then again, it really is a matter of whether you want to enjoy these benefits or if you don’t mind risking potential damage that can certainly end up costing more than the preventive maintenance.

Service & Payment FAQs
Aside from good-old cash and checks, we gladly accept electronic payments such as Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal; credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, and Discover); and certain gift cards. We can also possibly arrange to receive other methods of payment from you.
We never ask for tips but they’re certainly appreciated.
Yes, of course! We can do certificates for specific services or specific amounts.
We certainly can provide either of those at your request.
Please refer to “Car Wash FAQs” section “Can you wash my vehicle anywhere?” for more information. In regards to detail services, we may need, for example, to be indoors to avoid direct sunlight and hot temperatures. For instance, we recommend not polishing a vehicle when temperature is above 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit.
In unique occasions, yes. This is done to be fair to you and our work standards. In order for us to obtain the best results possible on vehicles that need considerably more work and time than others, we may need to charge more than the starting price. Sometimes it is the condition of the vehicle, others it can be its particular characteristics that can make the job more challenging than the same vehicle under other circumstances.
If the location where you would like service is not within reasonable driving distance from where we are at the time you want the service, then there may be an extra charge, of which you would be advised beforehand.
While we usually would require a minimum of $35 for a local request, we may sometimes waive that requirement.
Normally we don’t charge by the time, but in certain cases we may need to and would let you know ahead of time.
While we work mostly in the Ventura County area, we have served customers within the Los Angeles and Santa Barbara Counties. Each long-distance request is individually evaluated and service date/time can be arranged with you.
At times we do on certain services. We may have special discounts or free upgrades for particular services for senior citizens, armed forces, law enforcement, and emergency service personnel. Our services are rock-bottom priced already for all of our customers, without exceptions. It’s always a good idea to check out our Specials section to check out any ongoing deals.
All service sales are final. We work hard to make sure your expectations are not only met but exceeded. Please inspect the vehicle and make sure that you like what you see. We want to be sure that you get a good bang for your hard-earned buck. Your satisfaction is our priority.
We may or may not be able to do that. It depends on many factors that are determined on a case-by-case basis. Keep in mind that some debit or credit card companies/banks, and also PayPal, may offer you a special payment plan. In those cases, please contact your financial institution for details and promotions.
Other FAQs
Officially, our working hours are Tuesday-Saturday 8am to 5pm and Sundays 8 to 2pm. All but one crew is off on Mondays, and usually already has the day scheduled. However, don’t let that stop you from contacting us and seeing if we can fit you in on any given day. Our on/off days and working hours can vary. Moreover, please note that on certain holidays we may take the day off or work less time; and, likewise, when the weather isn’t ideal for work.
Yes, we do. However, sometimes we may ask if you would mind us plugging our electric cord at your location. This in order to reduce emissions and be nice to our beautiful planet. You are, however, free to decline if you so wish.

We could, but please keep in mind that that’s what they are – estimates. Your actual price may vary once we actually see the vehicle in person, may be more, but it can also be less.
Not usually, but very specific occasions may call for one.
We speak English and Spanish. We’re sure we can find ways to break any language barriers, however.

We work with passion and integrity, always striving to make sure that your vehicle is properly handled and cared for, and that your personal belongings are intact and completely safe with us. You shouldn’t have to worry about anything except enjoying a great looking vehicle after we work on it. But we do, however, have to present this Disclaimer based on certain rare-but-real experiences, for both your and our sake.
For those rare instances in which we may happen to be aware of having made a considerable mistake that we are sure beyond a reasonable doubt that we caused it and cannot take care of it ourselves, trust us that we will be the first to bring it up, apologize and make sure that the issue is resolved to your satisfaction in a timely manner. In such cases we would either refer you to a repair shop that would guarantee their work and pay for the cost, or, if it’s a part that can be replaced, buy a comparable replacement part. If, however, you prefer to go to your own repair shop or purchase your own part, we would only pay or reimburse you for a reasonable amount of the repair or part based on fair market cost.
By acquiring any of our services, you, the customer, acknowledge that we, New Millennium Car Wash (“New Millennium Mobile Car Wash & Auto Detailing”) shall not be held responsible, under any circumstances, for any of the following:
*Loss of any key or key ring items other than the key, fob, or such, that we may need.
*Loss of any valuables or other important items left in the vehicle.
*Total or partial theft, or any sort of damage to your vehicle after we have completed the job.
*Damage to any non-factory installed parts or accessories, inside or outside of the vehicle.
*Any sort of paint or body damage or loss of parts, including, but not limited to, scratches, peeling, marring, swirling, spotting, fading, dings, dents; likewise, missing or damaged parts or accessories, factory installed or otherwise, such as moldings, emblems, wraps, window tint, etc. *Damage to glass, mirrors, antennas, rims or tires, carpet, seats, dashboard, consoles, cup holders, door panels, air vents, seat belts, headliner, etc.
*Any mechanical or electrical malfunction, including those resulting from any of our services. (Please note, for example, that while most engine bay detail jobs, for instance, are done without any issues, every now and then a vehicle may present one issue or another because of a certain part having come in contact with water. Be advised that this service is always done at your own risk.)
*Any type of accident, injury, or death related to us having worked on your vehicle. (Although unlikely and that has never happened and probably never will.)
