What are Opti-Coat ceramic coatings?

Opti-Coat ceramic coatings are hard-wearing coatings specifically engineered to provide automotive and motorcycle paint with superior gloss and protection against damage such chemical etching and potentially paint cracking such as that caused by bird droppings, bug splatter, and the like.

These transparent coatings, although not scratch-proof, are also highly resistant to scratching (9H on the Mohs’ pencil scale), which means that the paint can stay scratch-free for longer if properly cared for. And as a bonus, Opti-Coat ceramic coatings are superhydrophobic, and because of their ultra-smooth properties the vehicles tend to stay cleaner for longer as well.

Superior SiC ceramic coatings, unlike waxes and sealants, and even other ceramic coatings, permanently bond to painted and other clear-coated surfaces. They enrich the paint’s gloss and protect it against harmful UV rays and acid etching (from bird droppings, bug splatter, etc.) Treated surfaces become super-hydrophobic and more resistant to common damage such as swirling and light scratches, stay cleaner for longer, and are easier to maintain.

  • Hydrophobic UV and stain protection for both cloth seats, carpet, convertible tops, and other textile surfaces. Helps extend their life appearance, and makes them easier to clean. 

Opti-Guard Leather & Vinyl Starting at $750

  • A concentrated, flexible ceramic/acrylic hybrid resin helps prevent permanent color transfer, staining, chemical damage, and premature aging of treated surfaces. It contains matting agents to maintain the original appearance.
